Betsy supports the Greenfield Penobscot Estuary Beneficial Project Trust LLC in Maine, bringing more than 30 years of experience as a remedial project manager (RPM) for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and other federal and state agencies. From 2010 to 2021, Betsy was the Superfund RPM for the former ASARCO smelter site in East Helena, Montana. There, she supported leading-edge remedies that resulted in major groundwater improvements around the site. Betsy earned her BS in geology from Colorado College and her MS in environmental policy from the University of Denver.
